2025 Southwest Center City 5K

The annual SWCC 5K Run is a beloved neighborhood tradition that brings Southwest Center City together in support of our local K-8 public schools. In 2025, more than 500 runners and walkers participated in the SWCC 5K, Monster Mile, and Spooky Sprint—offering fun options for all ages and fitness levels. Community members showed their spirit by running in Halloween costumes, volunteering as course marshals to keep runners safe, or cheering along the route through our beautiful neighborhood. Proceeds from the event support Marian Anderson Neighborhood Academy and Edwin M. Stanton School, helping us move our schools forward—one step at a time.
