Dance eXchange: Root, Rise, Dance

On April 7th, MANA’s 3rd and 4th grade students took the stage at Drexel University’s Mandell Theater for the annual Dance eXchange performance — the culmination of months of creativity, discipline, and joyful expression. Practicing twice a week for 24 weeks, our students dedicated themselves to learning choreography, building confidence, and working together as a team.

The 2026 theme, Four Seasons… Root, Rise, Dance!, invited students to explore the natural cycles of growth and renewal through movement. Inspired by the changing seasons, each class brought the theme to life — from planting seeds of acceptance and understanding, to rising with compassion and strength, and celebrating the joy of expression through dance.

Fully funded by MANAS, this program provides students with a powerful opportunity to grow both artistically and personally. Through rhythm and movement, they build confidence, strengthen collaboration skills, and deepen their connection to one another. Taking the stage in a professional theater setting is a moment of pride and accomplishment that many will carry with them for years to come.

We are so proud of our Wildcat dancers for their hard work, creativity, and courage — and grateful to our community for making programs like Dance eXchange possible.
