Turning Community Spirit into Student Success

On March 21, 2026, the Marian Anderson Neighborhood Academy community came together for our annual fundraiser, The Night Out — and what a night it was. The 23rd Street Armory was buzzing with more than 250 guests enjoying an evening of dancing, connection, great food, and an exciting auction that powers our mission.

Because of this incredible community and volunteers, we raised a record-breaking $126,000 to support curriculum investments, technology upgrades, and dynamic programming for our scholars. This success is a powerful reminder that we achieve the most when we come together with a shared purpose. Learn more about what MANAS funds.

The impact was felt throughout the night. Our flash appeal raised $10,000 for afterschool programming, materials, equipment, and the teachers who make it all possible. Students from the Wildcat Workshop inspired generosity with a compelling video, and our silent auction featured 215 donated items and experiences, raising $26,700.

Our community’s strength is also reflected in the unwavering support of  our incredible sponsors, in-kind sponsor, donors, attendees, auction bidders, teachers, staff, and volunteers. Big shout out to our Platinum Sponsors: Alterra Property Group, Center City Orthodontics, Cozen O’Connor, JKPR Architects, SeeSharp, and The Office of Council President Kenyatta Johnson.

Most importantly, this night showed what makes our community so special: when we show up for one another, we create meaningful opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and thrive.

Thank you for being part of this extraordinary effort. We’re already looking ahead to The Night Out 2027 on March 6 — we can’t wait to come together again.
